Dr Carol Selepe, Senior Director at the Office of
the Vice-Chancellor and Principal said:

“This important exhibition is a token of hope and
encouragement to the Gibela Research Chair

team. It was not an easy journey to reach our cur-
rent destination. This event is extra special as it

public. This is a historic day for TUT and we will continue to celebrate this great accom-

The Gibela Research Chair exhibition also formed part of the build-up to the official launch

and celebration of the chair on 3 September 2021.
