A management committee was implemented by the GRC to establish a pool of
researchers who are kept fully up to date with developments at the chair and their
roles are described as below. The Management Committee also indirectly addresses
issues of succession planning wherein a pool of human capital is involved in the
activities of the chair thus providing for sustainability in the long term.
